(27) Unit 1 "DIGITAL INFORMATION"

This unit allowed us to approach the different options of digital information such as the Hypertext is a kind of added to a text link that leads to a definition of items included in original text. So also the new options dealing Narrative in the digital age.

Hypertext is a new form of expression that transcends the boundaries of reading linear and analog information is in short a multilinear interactive system that achieves that change ways of thinking and get rich, because it forces the reader texts to search File and adapted to your needs (videos, images, documents, etc.), which provide a more comprehensive and universal learning the skills needed and suitable for training. Although like everything else, has certain disadvantages of discomfort, but the advantage is that the screen is a great visual stimulation that we can display a myriad of things. In conclusion, the hypertext is interdisciplinary, ecological and very helpful.

Hypertext allows more explicit, though not necessarily unwelcome, the material so that the reader can access some of the work. Hypertext and the decentering all hypertext systems makes the reader can choose their own center research and experience: virtual text, and computer virtual literary authors.

Features

new narratives of creation and reception Convergence: create, recreate and express content or meanings at the same time, ie "democratization of new information technologies."

wing hypertext linearity: It replaces the fixed and linear sequence of interaction and personal reading others resulting from its own evaluation and choice of shipping routes where you decide and assemble your own scripts according to their styles cognitive and / or requirements for information.

The new narrative that presents the digital age, are: multimedia, hypermedia and hypertext, which like any resource, whether electronic, digital or traditional, it has certain advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages: encourages learning, develops critical skills in the reader, makes the reader a thoughtful writer, leads to greater development of the reader in the vastness of these resources, makes the reader an emotional part, because it communicates more than before.
Disadvantages: can be an overload of information, can cause addiction to such limited resources and symbolic representation to a large stick to traditional resources and knowledge not digital media.

Unit 2 (26) Unit 2 Information Retrieval on the World Wide Web Internet

The purpose of this unit is to share with all people who are interested in applying the utility of digital information sources and files placed in a central repository site, videos, images, sounds, text , etc ... For the purposes of research and study, as well as learn about the different options that exist in this area, emphasis should be distinguished by different labels or keywords in their name that differ according to their origin.

In education we have several resources such as the European Education Thesaurus and Open Access initiative, the first helps us to recognize the keywords or tags that can be used to facilitate our search even in other languages, the second is an initiative that promotes as its name implies free access to Web materials as educational and academic research papers, this in order that they may be used, distributed and linked without legal or economic barriers so that there is provision of them to benefit all types of people, build roads to the needy.

That if we respect Copyright and learn to properly cite the author not to devalue, facilitate access to works and so others can fill them properly.

"The path of educational technology since its initial proposals in the 1950's shows us how the roads were crisscrossing the aspirations to technological applications or strategies and projects that are framed in their field. The technology was assigned a place of magic resolution of all problems . digital media in education

Hypertext is a tool that gives the media a new twist: nonlinearity, in which we have a wide variety of options to access information according to the needs of each user. Hypertext can be verbal or nonverbal and include documents and files of different formats such as videos, still images, text and sound.

Comparisons between analog and digital media are becoming more apparent as the tecnologpia evolves.

Digital documents can be compared with similar documents based on accessibility, upgrade, recoverability, durability, authenticity, ergonomics, computability, reusability, recoverability and virtuality, in some analog features has more advantages, but in other digital is the one who takes a step forward. However, you must not see this comparison as the possible replacement of one medium to another, but as different media can complement each other.

As educators we must consider that we need to delve on issues of computer and technological advances to provide new resources and we must begin to familiarize ourselves with the terms and language media.

(12) INTERNET AS A RESOURCE EDUCATION AND EDUCATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS

This article raises the situation that arose in the eighties with computer and now internet and its effects with regard to education, is a kind of unbridled excitement of not knowing that its scope could plunge us all into a huge frustration.

Internet not only be connected but there is a whole structure that teachers need to master, otherwise you run the risk of delaying its use and waste this tremendous resource. Hence the following questions arise: should be considered the technological and internet for educational resources or learning content? Well, we suppose that the former have a proper content, but should place the role they play in teaching and learning processes, ie the place.

From the constructivist perspective (where the student is the center of cognitive processes and thus the teaching and learning), highlights three important elements: what you learn, how to learn and conditions learning, the latter is determined by two elements: educational resources and teaching strategies, this is where the Internet plays a very important because it promotes learning of certain content, concepts, procedures and skills.

is drawn to computers and Internet as teaching resources strategies favoring exploration and discovery, autonomous learning environments and open, and capacity for interaction.

As if this were not enough, Vygotsky add another line of cultural development, which is developing tools that extend the human capacity to know and learn in this case, the technological means and Internet, because it contains the coding capacity and symbolic and conceptual representation of human beings.

The importance of these is that you need to leave home in order to investigate something and is not necessary to go to the library to gather information.
More simply requires a connection to the Internet to be access to books, articles, theses, etc.
course one advantage we have as students at the UNAM is that we can access all these documents for free from the comfort of home.
Although not sufficient to access this information because doing so can be serteza that the information we are using is reliable.
As you know it only remains to make good use of those documents.

Teachers and technology use

In This article makes an investigation into the use of Information Information and Cominucación (ICT) A study was conducted at the Centro Universitario del Sur, University of Guadalajara (Mexico). "We applied a questionnaire to 42 of the 320 teachers in that institution, which addressed four areas: technology infrastructure, support and teacher training grounds for the implementation of information technology and communication, and modification of teaching-learning process. "
The use of ICT in education has been that teachers have to venture into unknown lands perhaps for many those who lived before the rise of technology and the use of the Internet as a tool for rapid dissemination of information. However, most teachers have opened their ability to accept the implementation of these new technologies. As part of the technological updating the contents have become more dynamic ways of teaching and learning take on new forms and powers are increasingly demanding the teacher not only for himself but also for students. At this time as students of pedagogy and professional future, that we must be willing to adopt these new forms of communication.

The office, opposite the Moroccan Consulate in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bhas been operating for several years. For each translation takes between 25 and 30 euros. In the local registration officers found blank pages already stamped and initialed by Mohamed Brahim. Some appeared to address a different city of Barcelona.

The Association of Translators and Interpreters of Barcelona brought the complaint that has led the police operation. It has also asked the Government to revoke the translator. "Our function is not transferable. No one would imagine a notary delegating work! "Says his spokesman, Josep Peñarroja. According to the complaint, the figure of the translator is important in the case of the Arabic language" by the sociopolitical implications of the documents in Arabic. " The association noted that the volume of translations is "very high" and that they are of poor quality. supports that view in a resolution signed by the judge in the civil registration of Mataró, it agreed "not to accept the translations" to appreciate Brahim them "continuous omissions and errors of any kind".

"The association I have been involved because they attack a Muslim is very easy," Brahim replica, which attributed the report to "jealousy." "I'm doing my August. They are as I write and use the Internet," says the man, who admits he often travels and some documents, the "check" with your computer. In fact, during the police operation was in Western Sahara. Whilst acknowledging the "enormous amount" of work that has, in its defense argues that some texts are "document type" and have "templates".
