Open enrollment: Short Fiction Workshop "The fragmented text"


The development project of the Newfoundland literary talents Editors convenes Short Fiction Workshop "The fragmented text" directed by the narrator Rey Emmanuel Andújar, to be held from Saturday, October 3 at the headquarters of publisher located in the headquarters of Ballajá in Old San Juan.


The workshop of 24 hours is meant to "create a text made of tiny polished fragments that can be sustained as individual pieces to form a unit time."


The course will cover specific aspects of the novel as a language, plot, time, space and narrative voice among others, while consider issues such as fragmentation, aesthetics, everyday life and the power of brevity.

Rey Emmanuel Andújar
has extensive experience providing creative workshops and is the author of the novels Candela, sales success, and Amoricidio, for which he has received excellent reviews. Besides narrator is actor Andujar and his work has been internationally awarded.

"The fragmented text" starts and the seventh edition of the workshops offered by Newfoundland Publishers and have been taught by prominent Puerto Rican writers, among them Elidio La Torre Lagares, Yolanda Arroyo Pizarro, Guillermo Rebollo Gil and José Borges.


The workshop includes course materials, access to online education platform Newfoundland, a copy of Candela autographed by the author and 30% discount on the books of Newfoundland during the duration of the course.
