The editorial Terranova Editores resumes his creative writing workshops in the barracks Ballajá from Wednesday, January 31 with two offers poetry workshops and a short stories for young people and adults with artistic.
The Workshop "(Dex) pieces of poetry," Level I and Level II, will be led by the poet, workshop leader and performer Yara Liceaga who has extensive experience offering poetry workshops for children and adults in Puerto Rico and in the States together. Liceaga Yara has emerged as a facilitator in Boston, working on the project of the University of UMASS, the William Joiner Center and Hispanic Writers Week, to improve the writing skills of Latino students in the city, thus contributing to develop their sensitivities. In Puerto Rico, offers workshops to improve communication skills and teaching of teachers.
The Level I poetry workshop begins Saturday, February 3 through Saturday, March 24, 2007 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The Level II workshop will meet every Wednesday from 31 January to Wednesday, March 21, 2007 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The cost is $ 200.00.
's workshop story "Narrative in stained glass and mirrors" will be led by writer and teacher Yolanda Arroyo, recently honored by the Pen Club of PR for his novel The documented. The narrator has received numerous awards for his stories in Argentina, Chile and Puerto Rico and is a leading workshops on issues of development and technology.
In his workshop, Yolanda Arroyo "will encourage the creation in the genre of narrative, using the story and the story as exercises that encourage independence of thought and allow the implementation of various literary styles in prose."
The story workshop begins on Saturday, February 3 through Saturday, March 24 and will meet from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The cost is $ 225.00
workshops, eight weeks, will meet once a week in local publisher located in the headquarters of Ballajá.
The workshops are intended to foment emerging literary talents. Terranova Editores compile the work done by participants in an anthology.
