On September 9 in the city of Tan was held a meeting with the newly formed Association of Small Farmers, attended Barchetta, Motta, Gutman and Polidoro, where he was treated the problem of families being forced from their territory (where they remained for over 50 years in some cases), foreign economic groups. The next day Barcheta and Motta with affected producers toured over the area where they are established farming families, where today, almost bulldozers are at the doors of their homes.
Beyond the mere question of material, land, housing, membership is really a scandal, the violent and continuous abuse to these families, all participate in family agriculture, from those who claim to represent the law. In this sense, our FAA is conducting union efforts needed to implement a strategy to put this issue on the agenda in order to implement public policies that can reverse this situation.
